Cor Takes on Coronavirus; Weeks 2&3

Hello again!

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve checked in–all the gray, gloomy, rainy, quarantine-y days tend to blend together, and, on the days the sun has deigned to show its benevolent face, we’ve headed outside in droves to soak in its majesterial rays.

But, to be honest, Cor is napping right now (which he can still do just about anywhere), and my brain and body aren’t letting me sit still long enough to do anything else right now.

In this past three-day-long-month–because that’s what it feels like it has been since I posted–there has been a lot that has happened, including:

  • Several rides in the car to let Cor watch the world go by as a substitute mental stimulation.
  • Cor has had his second set of Parvo vaccines so he can now walk on the floor when we go into public.
  • Cor has become well-acquainted with our doctor’s office.
  • Cor went on his first walk around the neighborhood, thanks to those vaccines.
  • Cor got his first bath and second haircut. I am now willing to send poodle hair and toenail clippings to any necromancers in the area. Every two weeks you will get a sizable shipment as his hair actually grows faster than my own.
Believe it or not, I gave him a haircut less than two weeks before this, too.
  • Cor has passed Lesson 1 of 12 in the Service Dog curriculum–meaning he earned his service dog vest.
  • Mom and Dad went to get his vest–through a mailbox pickup (quarantine rules still applicable)–as a surprise to me from our trainer who, as it turns out, lives 1.5-2 hours away.
  • Cor has figured out what windows are.
  • Cor is fascinated by hunting junebugs.

And here are some other various pictures!

You were not born to fail,

💜 Lauryn 💜

How does he get cuter? It just doesn’t seem possible. Love all the videos. He’s got such a fun personality!
