I was Wrong…

Hey all! 

So, I am happy to report Cor proved me wrong.

Yes. You did. Remember last week when–

Erm, right. Well, last week in the post Worlds Collide, I shared my concern about going into lesson five.

Because you can sometimes be a slow learner?

Um, no. Because it was the lesson Yaha washed on and it was kind of hard for me to mentally move past that. 

But, Cor, you really stepped up and showed me that you’re two different dogs.

How did I show you we’re different?

Well, in lesson five we have to upload and pass 20 videos. In this week alone we uploaded 10.

Wow, Hooman! That’s a lot!

It’s certainly more than I was expecting to upload this week. 🙂

Anything else?

Yes, actually. One of the videos we uploaded was heel off leash. Remember, where you stay walking next to me even when I’m not holding your leash?

Yes. I prefer that than you pulling on the leash.

I don’t always pull on the leash.

Well, no. But I don’t like when you do.

I know. Me neither. And I’ve been able to trust you enough to do that in public and on walks several times. 

You’ve also consciously decided not to bark at dogs that have been barking at you.

Like at the doggy toy store?

Among other places, yes.

On top of all that, your scent training is coming along very well!

So you’re proud of me?

Well, yes, I’m proud of you for that, but I’d be proud of you even if you didn’t do any of that.

Like I am proud of you even though you’re just a silly hooman who isn’t nearly as smart as a puppy?

…something like that, yeah.
